1980s were the years of mastering the production of organosilicon monomers and polymeric products on their basis. The manufacture of organosilicon varnishes KO-810, KO-075 was organized as well as resins, silicon tetrachloride, trichlorosilane, phenyltrichlorosilane, oxyethylidenediphosphonic acid, ethylsilicate-40, tetraethoxysilane and other. Already operating productions were successfully expanded.
“For the first time in the USSR”
Commissioning of every shop, development of new products were accompanied by the words “for the first time in the USSR ”. This fact demonstrates the great importance of the plant for the country economy.1971-1975 - The largest scale of industrial construction. 17 production facilities were commissioned, 41 items of new products were mastered. Among them – direct dyes for cotton, silk and viscose fabrics, acetonanil (first line), softener-2, chlorous sulfuril and others. For the first time in the USSR at Khimprom the production of organophosphorus complexones for oil-processing and heat and power engineering was created.
1968 – Productions of chloromethanes, chlorophos, aniline came on stream.
1968 – The chemical plant was named after Lenin Komsomol.
1967 – The basic production of chlorine and caustic soda was started. Shops of electrolysis, electroalkali solutions, chlorine liquefaction were commissioned.
1965-1966 - First production in the USSR of light stabilizers benzon OA and OM was set into operation as well as production of dyes for cotton, flax and silk.
November 1964 – The first lot of the cationic blue dye “K” was manufactured. For the first time in the USSR at Cheboksary chemical plant the production of dyes for nitron fibers was mastered.
Upspring of great chemistry
June 1964 – the first sample of the cationic blue dye “K” was produced at the plant pilot shop;
1963 – the construction was declared “All-union komsomol construction site.” Mechanical-repair shop, power shops, instrumentation and control, transport shop were put into operation. The plant's laboratory was being created.
1960 – the beginning of construction: erection of the plant first buildings and first houses of the new town.
